Video: Israel Prize Winner, Rabbi Chaim Druckman, Pleads for Pollard's Release

At the National Conference of Zionist Rabbis in Jerusalem last week, Rabbi Chaim Druckman, this year's winner of the coveted Israel Prize, made an impassioned appeal for the release of Jonathan Pollard. He called upon President Shimon Peres to do everything in his power to free Pollard and to ensure that he comes home now, while he is still alive.Pollard, said Druckman, has languished far too many years in prison and that there is a limit to how long such cruelty should be allowed to continue. He called upon his colleagues at this conference to support President Peres's appeal to President Obama for Pollard's release, and to do whatever they can to help.
