The Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv, Yisrael Lau, spoke about Jonathan Pollard this week as part of an effort to raise awareness to his situation and obtain his release. Pollard is serving a life sentence in prison in the United States for giving classified information to Israel. Nobody else has paid such a high price in the U.S. for an action like Pollard's, Rabbi Lau said.
