Pollard Freedom Forest Now "Official" - All Are Welcome!
Justice4JP Release - February 2, 2004
The Knesset Symbols and Ceremonies Committee has given its approval to a request submitted by Minister of Agriculture Israel Katz to recognize the creation of a forest in honor of Jonathan Pollard on Tu B'Shvat (February 8, 2004) as an official Israeli Government Ceremony.
Along with the official stamp of Knesset approval, the name of the forest has officially been declared
Yaar l'man Shichrooroh shel Yehonaton Pollard, or in English:

Entertainment will be provided by some of Israeli's top names in contemporary music. The public at large is invited to attend this historic event.
Transportation from Jerusalem is available. Buses will leave from Binyanei Ha'Uma between 9:00-9:30 am. Reservations in advance are required.
