Israeli High Court Orders Government to Respond to Pollard Petition

In response to a request last week from Pollard's attorney Larry Dub for an expedited hearing, the Israeli High Court of Justice today ordered the Government of Israel to respond to Pollard's petition within 10 days. August 2, 1997 is the deadline for the government to respond. At that time the court will set a date for the hearing.
